Reports for Cublington Nursery:

As with all nursery's and provision for children under the age of five, Cublington Nursery abides by the guidelines suggested by Ofsted and has a certificate to demonstrate this.

The last Ofsted Inspection took place in June 2004. We were very pleased with the outcome of this inspection: "The provision is acceptable and is of good quality overall. Children are making generally good progress towards the early learning goals. The next inspection will take place in three to four years time."

From now until the next report we will:

  • indicate clearly on daily plans the areas of learning being covered and desired learning intentions, to ensure a balanced programme is being offered in all aspects of learning
  • continue to develop the observational recordings, clearly linking them into stepping stones to enable children's progress to be easily identified
  • extend the present system of evaluating the overall provision to ensure activities are being managed effectively to deliver desired learning intentions.
