Here you will see that under the areas of learning i.e. "Physical Development" we develop comprehensive plans. These are available in detail to view at the nursery when you visit.

| WEEK 1: |
MIXED COLOURS AND SHAPES. Personal, Social and Emotional Development - settle into nursery after the Christmas holidays, encourage children to talk about their holidays and to listen to others. Paint and draw pictures to help describe their experiences. |
| WEEK 2: |
MIXED COLOURS AND SHAPES. Personal, Social and Emotional Development - work together, take turns and share while taking part in different activities and experiences. |

BLUE WEEK AND TRIANGLES. Creative Development and Communication, Language and Literacy - develop imagination through role play, music, movement, art and craft activities. Encourage children to recall past experiences. |

YELLOW WEEK AND CIRCLES. Mathematical Development - take part in activities and experiences relating to shapes and colours. Begin to use size language. |
